Member of the Month

Ginny Baggs
The FSW Member of the Month for November is Virginia "Ginny" Baggs, pictured here with her award certificate and gift card. Congratulations, Ginny!

Ginny Baggs has had a tremendous career of service to both the FSW and our community. She retired in October of 2017 as a Social Services Investigator, after having been at MCDHS for 23 years. During that time she filled a variety of positions within FSW. Ginny was a Trustee, Political Action Chair and Treasurer, a role in which she continues today.

Ginny Baggs has always gone “above and beyond” when it came to volunteering and working on FSW events, particularly those that benefited local charities. She was a leader on our Habitat for Humanity Project, and worked as a volunteer annually at both the Human Service Awards luncheon and the FSW Golf Tournament. Ginny has been a wonderful example of an engaged and committed union member, who could always be counted on to help in any way possible. There is nobody more deserving of being honored as our Member of the Month, than Ginny Baggs! Congratulations!

Funding to support the FSW "Member of the Month" program is provided by the Federation's Retiree Council, Modica Law Firm and Edge Advertising Group.
